FAQ/PAQ

I stole "PAQ" from here.

Your online pseudonym is "Kuneho Cottonears?" "Kuneho?" "Cottonears?"

"Cottonears" is just a silly name I came up with for my rabbit online persona, maybe taken from "Cottontail." When I make my sona, I plan on putting details onto the ears, making them long and having an accessory on one of them. It'll make sense once I can make one.

"Kuneho" is the Filipino word for rabbit. Look, if the McClouds are fine with naming their kid literally "Fox," my name shouldn't be weird either.

Why a rabbit for your online persona/fursona?

I thought rabbits would be a good pick because of its traits, both from tropes from fiction and real life rabbits. I wanted to have a character that would convey fun, innocence, and professionalism. However, I wanted to contrast this with a subtle rebellious (maybe punkish), hotheaded, immature, and prankster attitude. Again, it'll make sense once a make it.

I think this is also representative with future projects want to make and publish, games in particular.

Why these aesthetics specifically? Why Frutiger Aero?

Looks cool.

In addition, since I have an interest in technology which include software and operating systems throughout computing history, I wanted to sort of try mimic those styles that they used while at the same time trying to be original also. I'm not a graphic designer by any means, though, I'm satisfied with how this website turned out. And I'm now interested in also trying to get into graphic design, too.

I also view it as a way to sorta "go against" modern flat and minimal design. Not that I think those styles is bad in of itself or anything, it's just... It feels like what Comic Sans has become.

Any inspiration/influences/references? What resources did you use?

Will you release your work on other platforms? Your art on Twitter? Games on Steam? Videos on YouTube?

No.

I have very strong beliefs related to technology, media consumption, and the internet. As such, I am not comfortable releasing my works on other platforms, other than the ones I listed on my contact page.
